RSNO Film Composers Lab 2026

Hello to John, Danai, Holly and other members of the RSNO Film Composers Lab 2026 panel. My name is Gary and I am pleased to share with you two compositions which you can stream below.

Please note the orchestral score for A Glass Of Chocolate Milk is for the montage scene 1:42 - 2:48.

Finally, no doubt you will have a lot to get through, so for Last Call, 0:00 - 0:42, and from 2:40, are the more prominent cues. I left the other’s in as I think it’s important for you to get an idea of both the films tone, and musical arc, so the emotional core at 2:40 has it’s intended impact.

The ethereal, warbly synths represent Lee’s internal subtext. The analogue warmth and pitch instability from tape emulation mirrors his pensive thoughts; and the mechanics of the felt piano connect the audience to Lee on an emotional level.
